Hello
A while ago, when i was in 3rd or 4th grade, there was basically a spectrum of cool and uncool things to do. In the middle was to watch TV non-stop, and not do anything interesting with your life. Way over to the "cool" end, there were sports. Soccer. Baseball. Basketball. Anything that involved competitive physical activity was dubbed "cool".
And then there was the other end. This end was where I was. This end consisted of things like Harry Potter, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Toontown, and finally Neopets.
There was a large chunk of those years where my friends and I were ADDICTED to Neopets. My friends were always much better than me at it, with billions of Neopoints and level 300 pets, but this didn't really bother me. I wasn't the kind of person who would get obsessed over something, unlike now xD. Anyway, I liked it when they would tell me about some super secret Jelly-World or game that was so great it wasn't in the main arcade.
So, since I was bored this morning, I made a new Neopets account to find that they CHANGED ALMOST EVERYTHING! It's so sad that when some stupid toy comes along, everything has to copy it. So naturally, since the Webkinz phase was clearly affective, Neopets just HAD to copy it with their new "Neo-Cash", which you have to buy in stores (like Webkinz) and "Neo-Homes", which look just like the houses in Webkinz.
It's just so...ahh. Why? Why do great games have to change???
On a positive note, my favorite game, Hannah and the Pirate Caves, has stayed the same...so...yay!
